Full-Stack Developer (Python+React)

Itexus is looking for a Junior+/Middle Full-Stack Developer to join our team.

Project: The app is designed for teachers of middle school grades and above working in both private and public schools around the world. The app is particularly suitable for countries with large class sizes where large numbers of tests are administered. Using computer vision and customized answer sheets, it allows teachers to create answer keys, scan handwritten tests with a smartphone, and instantly assign grades. The app supports multiple languages, math equations, and automatically emails results to students.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with Python and Django;
• Experience with React, as well as Redux or MobX, or completed relevant courses;
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and implementing them using ORM;
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc;
• Strong knowledge of Linux: ability to connect to remote machines and set up simple projects;
• Experience with Docker, ability to work with Docker-based infrastructure (docker compose and/or kubernetes): debugging, making small changes;
• Experience working in distributed teams and knowledge of Agile practices;
• Intermediate (B1) or higher.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with other Python frameworks like FastAPI or Flask;
• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, WebSockets, etc;
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or similar;
• Experience with Serverless architecture based on AWS Lambda or Google Function;
• Familiarity with React component libraries such as Material-UI, Ant Design, or others;
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud, Google Cloud, Yandex.Cloud, or others.
