Java Developer

 

Itexus is looking for a Java Developer (Junior+ / Middle) to join a project for a large financial organization.

The project is focused on the development and support of Compliance systems that help meet regulatory requirements in the financial sector. The platform automates financial monitoring processes, client verification against regulatory watchlists, reporting, document generation, and integration with internal services.

You will be involved in developing and maintaining Java-based microservices, building integration solutions, and working with distributed systems in a complex business domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java microservices
• Design and enhance REST APIs
• Work with PostgreSQL and relational databases
• Integrate services using RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Write unit and integration tests
• Participate in code reviews
• Fix defects and improve existing functionality
• Collaborate with analysts, QA engineers, and other development teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Java development
• Strong knowledge of Java 11+ (Java 17 is a plus)
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Experience with RabbitMQ and/or Kafka
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Git
• Experience writing unit tests
• Understanding of CI/CD principles

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or OKD
• Experience with Redis
• Experience with ELK Stack
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with Swagger / OpenAPI
• Experience with Keycloak
• Experience in banking or financial projects
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
