Data Scientist

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team at Itexus.

You will work on building data-driven solutions and modern data platforms for European clients across domains such as finance, insurance, pharma, and SaaS.

This role focuses on practical Data Science applications, combining machine learning, data analysis, and close collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and explore data to extract actionable insights
• Design, develop, and validate machine learning models
• Perform feature engineering and experiment with different algorithms
• Build predictive models to solve business problems
• Prepare and process data for ML pipelines
• Support deployment and integration of models into production
• Collaborate with business teams to define requirements and translate them into data solutions
• Interpret model results and present insights to stakeholders
• Create dashboards and reports using BI tools
• Visualize data and communicate findings in a clear and structured way

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science
• Strong Python skills
• Experience with: pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn
• Solid understanding of statistics and machine learning
• Hands-on experience in building ML models
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience working with large datasets
• Experience with feature engineering
• Ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
• English level B2+

Experience with BI and data visualization:

• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Experience in building dashboards and visualizations for business users

Nice to have:

• Experience with Databricks
• Knowledge of NLP / LLM / GenAI
• Time series analysis
• A/B testing / causal inference
• Deep learning (PyTorch / TensorFlow)
• Experience with ML pipelines and production environments
• Advanced data visualization skills
