DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team!

About the client:
An international software development company specializing in online entertainment and betting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services;
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Practical knowledge of Terraform/Terragrunt;
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines;
• Background in monitoring with Grafana/Prometheus;
• Understanding of modern cloud-native setups, microservices, meshing systems.

Requirements:

• Containerising applications/microservices of different stacks (JS, .Net, Java, PHP, Python);
• Organising Helm charts;
• Implementing infrastructure setups using Terraform and Terragrunt;
• Developing and improving CI/CD pipelines (BitBucket) and delivery processes;
• Maintaining different parts of the ecosystem (microservices, data processing, streaming, payments, etc);
• Participating in design sessions and making architectural decisions;
• Communicating with Team Leads of different streams (developers, data engineers, tech managers, etc);
• Extending & improving existing monitoring/alerting setup;
• Migrating op-prem/EC2-hosted application to K8s (EKS);
•  Solving urgent problems and outages (rarely);
• Nighttime maintenances, deployments of critical systems (rarely);

Nice to have:

• Experience with ArgoCD;
• Experience with service meshes (Linkerd/Istio);
• Experience with Apache Kafka (e.g., AWS MSK);
• Experience with Apache Airflow;
• Experience with Docker in a multi-stack environment (JS, .Net, Java, PHP, Python);
• Experience with Cloudflare;
• Experience with GCP or Alibaba Cloud.
