DevOps Engineer (Azure)

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a new project in an Azure cloud environment. The role is focused on building scalable, reliable integration platforms and working with modern cloud-native and event-driven architectures.

About the projects

You will work on several cloud-native, integration-heavy projects for large European companies across industries such as finance, energy, industrial, and SaaS.

One of the key directions involves building modern platforms on top of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, focusing on scalable, reliable infrastructure and high-quality data and system integration.

Another stream of projects focuses on end-to-end platform development, including integration layers, messaging systems, workflows, and system interactions. You will contribute to designing robust pipelines, integrating multiple services, and enabling reliable, scalable solutions for business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integration layers between systems
• Design and support event-driven architectures
• Work with messaging systems and workflow orchestration tools
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance in a cloud-native environment
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Develop infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Monitor systems, handle incidents, and implement rollback strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to system design decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud
• Solid experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and containerization (Docker)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Event Hub)
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices
• Experience building and supporting production-ready infrastructure
• Knowledge of monitoring, incident management, and system reliability practices
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
• Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Argo Workflows, Airflow, Temporal)
• Good knowledge of Python for scripting and automation
• Experience with DAG-based workflows (dependencies, retries, failure handling)
• Background in integration architecture (APIs, system integration)
• Understanding of business processes (e.g., data flows, claims processes)
