They build software products that improve flight safety, optimize aircraft performance, and streamline operations across general, business, and commercial aviation, as well as support defense organizations and OEMs.
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Network DevSecOps Engineer to help design, scale, and automate a secure hybrid network infrastructure. You’ll play a critical role in developing and enforcing network security policies, implementing GitOps practices, and collaborating with Cloud, SRE, and Security Engineering teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in network engineering or network security
- Strong expertise in core networking concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, VLANs, NAT, WAN/LAN
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and NAC tools (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Background in hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust architecture and least privilege access principles
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Scripting skills in Python and Bash
- Familiarity with SASE, ZTNA, NDR, and EDR technologies
- Experience with network traffic analysis and integration with SIEM/SOAR platforms
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a secure hybrid network infrastructure (cloud + on-premises)
- Automate network provisioning and monitoring using IaC and observability tools
- Perform audits and evolve architecture according to Zero Trust principles
- Integrate secure networking practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct threat modeling and respond to network-related incidents (e.g., DDoS, lateral movement)
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to maintain and enforce network security standards
- Participate in compliance audits and maintain documentation of network controls
- Provide training and documentation on secure networking for internal teams
Nice to Have
- Experience building AWS testing environments using IaC
- Hands-on experience with microsegmentation and identity-aware proxies
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Grafana)
- Experience supporting compliance audits (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2)
