Itexus is looking for a proactive Lead Generation Specialist to help build and scale our outbound pipeline for IT services.
In this role, you will focus on identifying relevant companies, building targeted prospect lists, running LinkedIn and email outreach campaigns, and qualifying potential clients before handing them over to the sales team. You will work closely with sales and marketing to continuously improve messaging, targeting, and the overall outbound strategy.
Responsibilities
• Build and continuously improve prospect databases for outreach based on defined ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and buyer personas such as CEO, CTO, Head of Product, Delivery, or Engineering in companies that regularly work with external development teams (outsourcing / outstaffing / staff augmentation).
• Research companies and gather data for personalization, including tech stack, product and market context, company news, hiring activity, funding rounds, releases, and partnerships. Identify and verify contact information (email / LinkedIn) to maintain a high-quality lead database.
• Launch and manage multichannel outreach campaigns, primarily through LinkedIn (connect + follow-ups) and cold email, and potentially other channels such as communities, event lists, or partner directories. Use automation tools while maintaining strong deliverability and message quality.
• Create and send outreach sequences tailored to different ICP segments and typical client challenges, such as: need additional development capacity, delivery delays, legacy modernization, MVP or greenfield development, integrations or infrastructure projects, mobile or web development needs.
• Run A/B tests to improve messaging, including hooks, value propositions, social proof, and CTAs.
• Review and process replies manually, qualify leads by identifying needs, timing, budget, collaboration format (team augmentation vs project work), vendor selection criteria, and decision-makers, and move conversations toward the target outcome — scheduling an intro / discovery call.
• Share relevant materials with prospects depending on their needs, such as case studies, portfolios, short one-pagers, proposed solution ideas, engineer profiles, or examples of delivery, QA, security, and compliance processes.
• Maintain lead tracking and reporting: document lead status, next steps, and context notes; pass qualified leads to the sales team and support the process until the call is scheduled.
• Monitor and analyze outreach performance metrics including acceptance rate, reply rate, positive response rate, booked calls, and show-up rate. Suggest improvements to ICP targeting, messaging, sequencing, and deliverability.
• Support social selling by engaging with relevant posts, gradually warming up accounts, and interacting with content from the target audience.
• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align on ICP, messaging, positioning, case studies, and outreach scripts, and regularly share insights about real market needs and client pain points.

• Strong written communication skills — concise, clear, and natural. Ability to write messages that feel human, even when using tools like ChatGPT.

• Highly organized and disciplined: maintaining CRM records, updating lead statuses, and managing follow-ups consistently.
• Curiosity and interest in experimenting with new tools, approaches, and outreach strategies.
Hard Skills
• Understanding of B2B lead generation funnels, especially for IT services (outsourcing / staff augmentation), from ICP definition to booked calls.
• Experience with LinkedIn outreach and/or cold email campaigns. Experience with outreach tools such as Dripify, Woodpecker, Instantly, Clay, Apollo, or similar is a plus. Understanding of sending limits, account warm-up, deliverability, and risk management.
• Strong research skills: ability to identify relevant accounts using signals such as funding, hiring activity, tech stack, or market indicators, and turn this information into meaningful personalization.
• Ability to analyze metrics, draw conclusions, and run iterations through A/B testing of messages, sequences, CTAs, and audience segments.
• Basic understanding of social selling and a conversation-led approach in B2B outreach.
Nice to have
• Experience using job boards (such as AngelList / Wellfound, WeWorkRemotely, RemoteOK) as signals for identifying companies that may need external development teams.
• Experience with partner outreach for building partnerships through partner directories, industry communities, or conferences.
• Experience using market and investment intelligence tools such as Crunchbase or PitchBook to identify startups and companies that may require development support or team expansion.
