QA Engineer (Middle)

Itexus is looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ambitious, challenging projects!

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing (Web &Mobile);
• Deep understanding of the software testing lifecycle, including requirements gathering, test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting;
• Skills in designing tests using test design techniques;
• Experience in analyzing business and technical requirements;
• Experience in functional and non-functional types of testing including;
• Security testing, testing UI, API (REST/SOAP), and Database (SQL/NoSQL);
• Understanding of client-server interaction (HTTP);
• Experience with Android Studio, Xcode;
• Experience with Charles, Fiddler and Devtools;
• Experience in creating Postman collections and writing tests;
• Attention to detail, self-reliance, good analytical skills, stress resistance;
• Excellent English language skills (В2+).

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and testing application requirements, taking part in project requirement discussions;
• Conducting UI, functional, performance, regression, integration and other types of testing on Mobile and Web projects, testing API;
• Testing on various environments (Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android);
• Creating and keeping up-to-date test documentation (test cases, test suites, test plans), preparing reports on test results;
• Participation in demo sessions and project meetings, consultations with the customer on the choice of testing tools and approaches to testing the project;
• Mentoring Junior QA in case of necessity.

It’ll be a plus:

• Experience with Kafka;
• Experience with Load testing.
