Kanban, on the other hand, offers the advantage of flexibility. It allows teams to visualize their workflow and make adjustments based on the current demand, team capacity, and external factors. Kanban emphasizes continuous delivery and empowers teams to focus on completing tasks rather than adhering to fixed time-boxed iterations. The use of metrics such as cycle time and lead time helps identify bottlenecks and optimize the flow, resulting in faster and more predictable delivery.

Applications:

Both Scrum and Kanban have their applications depending on the nature of the project and team dynamics. Scrum is particularly suitable for complex projects with evolving requirements where frequent feedback and adaptability are crucial. It works well when the team is cross-functional and self-organizing, enabling them to collaborate effectively and continuously refine the product backlog.

Kanban, on the other hand, is more suitable for teams working on repetitive tasks or projects with a steady and predictable flow of work. It is effective in environments where the priorities change frequently or when there is a need to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Kanban boards provide a visual representation of work, making it easier to track progress and identify bottlenecks.
